Technical socket next to cigar lighter socket

Hi I am new to the forum and I have a ducato motor home and the socket next to cigar lighter does not work I have checked all fuses am I missing something thanks

Have you checked the earth connection to the socket?

Both are powered from the same source, so if one works and the other doesn't it can only be a bad contact in the socket or directly behind it. The material is pretty low cost stuff, especially the negative side. It may also be just a dirty center contact.

What model / year is it? On early X250's both sockets were fed from the same fuse in the cab fuse box. On later X250 models there are two seperate fuses which are in the engine fuse box. The X290 also has two fuses in the engine fuse box
