Hi all, my name is Alan and I am new to fiat forum, but I hope you can help, my motorhome has the 2.8 engine 2001 122 bhp version not the jtd. We recently had a full service including all fluids, cam belt, pulley belts and brakes. The engine is running like a dream and have no problems in the past 12 years or 70000 miles, that has now changed. Last week after only 1500 miles since the service it failed to start, well it started from cold first click as always but then I switched of after only a few minutes it was then it refused to start, AA called, local garage attended, suspect fuel cut of valve, after many checks he cracked an injector pipe, it appeared to have air in the system, bled the system and it started, since this time if I stop the engine within a few minutes of starting it will not start, but if I keep cranking it will eventually fire (good battery). However this has now damage the starter motor, my problem is starter can be replaced easily but what is causing the other issue, sorry it's so long but wanted to cover all the points.

Many thanks
Alan

There appears to be a wire come adrift of the back of the fuel pump, it looks like it belongs to a bolt on type switch, what is this switch and could this be a simple fix, many thanks
