My 2007 3.0 never fails when cold start
But when trying to start it at operating (90C)temp it fires a few times then it dies. If I apply 50% throttle during crank then it will fire up
Any suggestions ?

I'm experiencing similar difficulties however if I give it any throttle attempting to coax it along when it does decide to fire the engine warning fuel problem warning text and lamp come on.

Thanks a lot
I will start looking at the earth straps
Come to think of it my battery may not be 100% either

After a few more hot starts it seems like it will fire up correctly more iften if I wait a bit longer with ignition on before crank.
Is it possible that there is a check valve that is leaking fuel back to the tank so I need to run the fuel pump a bit longer before crank to build up a pressure again?
Is there such a check valve?
Can I replace only the check valve?
