Folks, looks like I may need a new MAP sensor
Can anyone give me an idea on its location on the 3.0 180bhp lump

If easily accessible I'll do it myself or if you need 3 quadruple jointed arms like Mr Tickle then a garage can have it ?
Thanks in advance

Neil

Addition to the p0235 pressure sensor error codes that pop up daily, I've also had now twice over night P2563 turbo position ? which points to new blower by all accounts,

Anyone had both codes before?could they be linked or a knock on affect?

Any advice will be mega helpful
Cheers

hi on the euro 4 its just under the air-intake pipe going into the throttle control on top of the inlet manifold you can just see it to the left of picture with the throttle control removed

Thanks, looks similar without looking at mine yet, throttle body is the same part though so should be same place,

Incidentally have you had any issues with that soot build up?

I'm thinking mine could be linked with the crud. I changed throttle body in December and soot/crud was similar to yours

hi. no issues apart from EML on the dash because of water ingress when changing the throttle control I noticed the inlet manifold was full of gunk so I cleaned it with a cloth on some wire soaked in carb cleaner & cleaned the map sensor ( hoping to gain mpg ) before fitting the new control. cheers
