Greetings all,
I have athe above and have a vibration when 3000 rpm accelerate and a little when decelerating, clutch seems fine and gearbox smooth and tight. Having this looked at by so called "Proffesionas" and the answer seems change the gearbox and clutch although they are not sure of the problem.
I am convinced it's a loose pan or cover any thoughts please as bill could be £4500 and on Lt driven 1200mls so far with a total of 23000 miles on the clock.
Happy Homing

£4500 pounds would buy a reconditioned engine along with reconditioned gearbox clutch and flywheel so I would look somewhere else.

Is the vibration there at 3000rpm in all gears?

Depending on if its linked to engine speed or road speed vibration can be lots of things, inner cv, outer cv, bent driveshaft, dmf, clutch, engine/ gearbox mountings etc.

Thanks for the info, won't be doing that as only had it since Sept will park it outside dealer au til they fix it . but no not in all gears and clutch gears work perfectly no hard vibration just annoying chatter.

Checked out by gearbox /clutch expert and all perfectly fine, he managed to replicate the problem by crawling under the van and seems to be rear engine stay the main cause and right stay very perished so will go from there but relieved as very cheap fix.
:)will keep you posted if interested but well worth the 120 mile drive.
Many thanks to Ian at Gearlinks Salisbury.

Well done to Ian for using his brain instead of your wallet, goes to show how people get ripped off.

When I lived in rural ireland the gearbox mounts would only last 6 months to a year with the bad back roads, I ended up reinforcing mine with window bonding adhesive its been 3 years now and perfect.
