Posts: 6 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0  | 2007 ducato gears hi the gear change is rather stiff on my ducato. going into 1st i find it easier to select 2nd & then go into 1st. also i find it hard to select reverse. tried oiling the cables. is there an adjustment on the cables somewhere ? thanks tony

Posts: 476 Thanks: 30 Trader Rating: 0 | Re: 2007 ducato gears There is a similar pivot on the six speed gearbox but as it isn't 'lubricated' by the scuttle drain its not prone to seizing. I took mine off to grease it 'just in case' as this had made a huge difference on my 244 van and the shaft assembly fell to pieces  so beware if you do it...best just to dribble some oil on it varesecrazy liked this post
