I have a problem with restarting a hot engine. Its not a battery/starter problem but appears to be a sensor getting too hot and malfunctioning, ignition turns on but no attempt to start (completely dead, no solenoid click or attempt to crank). However if engine is left to cool down then engine can be started. Was a real problem in South of France with high ambient temperature - was stuck at services after fuel refill for over an hour. Had a couple of similar issues in UK but restart was possible after a couple of attempts. I noticed an indication of low oil level on start (not correct) - is this linked to ignition? I initially thought it was sensor showing the auto box in neutral but this seemed OK.
Any help much appreciated:bang:

You need diagnostics, check for 12v at the solenoid before you go ruling out a sticking solenoid.
