I've a 2001 Fiat 2.8idtd based motorhome with play in the front wheel bearings, I've found out they're taper roller type and would like to know the torque for the 50mm hex hub nut.

Hi, I had a 1998 2.5iTD van; on this the rear bearings were taper roller but the front bearings were two parallel roller with a spacer. All the vans are similar.

I've forgotten what the torque was for the front hub nut but it was something colossal like 340nm, so obviously not taper!
