Hello, I am new to this forum and hopefully someone may be able to help.
It first started with a flat battery ( why is still unknown)which after recharge has checked out ok but now padlock is constantly on dash and engine will crank but not fire, there is two black keys and both have been tried in ignition but just the same. On investigation in engine fuse box fuse 11 was found to have blown, this was replaced but blew on insertion even though ignition was switched off, could this fuse fault be connected to the immobiliser issue:bang:
Thanks in advance.

Charlie thanks for your reply, battery was never removed it was charged in place, not found out why the battery went flat as van is used regular.
Regards,

On my 2001 2.8jtd had same problem after trawlling through loads of posts found there is a reset button behind the servo on the bulkhead, you cannot see it but find it with your fingers and press the top or bottom cant remember now and hi presto lights off and van starts.
I think the post was from a fait mechanic orginaly worth a look before you spend money!;)

Thanks for the reply's, will have a look for the inertia switch and see if that cures the problem, failing that will contact my mate to see if he can re-write the immobiliser section in the ecu then add aftermarket unit, from all the complaints regarding this issue Fiat should be embarrassed the motorhome has only done 22000 miles from new.
Regards,
