Technical Oil Light keeps flashing

Just had Ducato 3.0 (180) serviced but not by Fiat garage. The oil can icon is flashing with the message change oil and filter. Can this be done without going to the main dealer. Thanks in advance.

I would take it back and see if they can do it first , get it all the time at work the other blokes are always forgetting to reset indicators !!

I'm not positive about later models but I believe it clears itself after a number of miles driving.

As it was not a fiat garage they cannot turn it off as they do not have the kit. Dont know why but the warning light and "change oil & filter" message came on at 28,000 miles when the service is not due till 30,000 miles. 28,000 was the old service interval ?.

On another note I was informed by the garage that there was an oil leak from a pipe that leads to the turbo and that it would have to go back to dealers under warranty.

Also just to let you know that there is no alternative but to use the Fiat fuel filter as the one listed by MANN does not fit.

Can the garage not borrow the kit then ? Not the right kit shouldn't be doing the job , just my opinion
