As a newcomer to the forum please bear with me if I'm not following the correct procedures. I have had a look for the answer to my problem/concern but haven't found what I need to know.
I have just bought a 2005 Ducato and only one of the flip keys work, the other appears to be off another vehicle although both of the blades work. For personal reasons I cannot go to Fiat and request their assistance, also a new key is very expensive.
If I can find two flip keys and an immobiliser module and carefully change over the blades, I am assuming that will give me two working keys. I know the remote central locking will not work but I'm not bothered about that.
Any comments would be appreciated.
Thanks
Peter
