Hi all

My first post!
Wonder if anybody can help?
Firstly could people tell me where the fuse box is located in my Ducato 2.8 LWB van?
Also the drivers side indicator isn't working...when I activate it, it makes a very fast clicking sound & it doesn't work. I've checked bulbs but their fine. I'm thinking either a fuse or a relay? But back to first question where is this located? And if it is a possible relay where will these be & which one/s will it be?

Thanks for any help!

Cheers

Fuse box on my m/home I in the passenger glove box its a 2
8 jtd should be the same also bank of fuses above battery under bonnet.. Hope this helps ..have u tried cleaning bulb connectors sounds like a bad connection

Hi, and welcome,

normally a faster flash is because only 2 bulbs are lighting instead of the normal 3,
sounds correct - as you've seen 1 doesn't work,

before going any further though.. turn indicators and ignition OFF , then use the hazard switch, listen for where the ticking / clicking is coming from ( that is the flasher relay)
walk around - are they ALL working . or is the "dead one" still dead ?,

Hi folks

Thanks very much for your posts.
I haven't had a great deal of time to study & diagnose the problem, but I've now located the fuse box (thanks for that ;-) and fuses look fine.
I've tried the hazards & the side drivers indicator & drivers side front indicator r still dead. No unusual sounds sound normal...when I do normally indicate I notice that the rear drivers side indicator is flashing quickly front 2 as described r dead still.
I've tried 2 check the 2 fuses under the bonnet behind black housing but can't get to them they seem to be in annoying cage thing!
Maybe a job for my mechanic now...

Thanks again, any other ideas welcomed.

I'd whip the bulbs out, check for oxidization on the contacts and in the bulb holders, try a jump wire from the metal bulb housing (not the contacts inside), to a clean earth point. If the bulbs light across a 12v battery they are ok, I'll bet bad earth, or other bad connection. Unlikely IMHO to be the relay; if there is not enough load on it - there won't be with fewer blbs and therefor amps- it will race away like mad as you describe.

Don't suppose it has a factory tow bar by any chance has it ?
