does anyone on here have any idea of what this engine weighs? I need to buy an engine stand to hold the engine whilst rebuild/stripdown? there doesn't seem to be any good reliable information on these engines, I need stuff like torque settings etc any help would be greatly appreciated,

Just wondering if you really need to buy a stand for that?
As a suggestion: I've rebuilt several engines and each time have just made up a jig/cradle out of old bits of wood.

If you have the money to buy a engine stand by all means do it ....but I would save my money.
As an Ex HGV technician all we have ever used is a pallet or several on the ground, once your finished simple throw away, burn it in your stove or recycle it...simple easy & cheap.
