My 1999 Dethleffs is plated 3200kg/front axle 1690kg/rear axle 1750kg.
It is a Ducato X230 and I guess a type 10/11.

The Fiat ePER isn't available. Can anyone tell me what shocks are for my vehicle? I'd prefer a premium brand. I once replaced OEM shocks on a new camper with Bilsteins and saw a huge improvement.

My manual doesn't say if it is a camping car suspension.

Thanks.

There a loads of spring changes and several suspensions post your vin if you want a definite answer. It may have been supplied sans rear chassis to dethleffs oo and have an alko chassis.

Thanks. My VIN is ZFA2300005696321.
It would be great to know exactly what the base vehicle is.
At one time I could access ePER but not recently.

Thats only 16 digits, vin is 17 don't mind the number on the registration cert its often mistyped, get the number under the bonnet.

CABIN CRUISER 4X2 (V2) WITH LOAD CAPACITY 14 QUINTALS (Q14)

Says "no special version" so I'm assuming its got the single spring not got the reinforced camper springs, unless dethleffs modified it.

Anyway the parts cross reference for both yields the same parts

If you're up around the 3 ton mark all the time and your shocks are ok, airbags might be a better investment?

Thank you very much Moodrater.

The springs have 2 leaves so I guess Dethleffs upgraded it.

Would you fit new shocks if you were going to install an air ride system?
