Hi I've got a '92 ducato motorhome . I need a cylinder head. It's a 1.9. td code 280A1

I know they're hard to come by ,and I wondered if anyone might know of any where in Italy they still produce them , or indeed the complete engine ..

Or mebe someone has managed to sleeve in a different engine ?

2.5s have the same bolt pattern might be able to hook one up by fiddling the input shaft or swapping flywheels.

Thanks for the imput moodrater , I dont have any garage facilities at the mo, so I'm kind of a prisoner to a mechanic friend of mine ......He's not looking to do too much work on it.....but ....it may be we'll have to look at doing something with a 2.5 .if I cant get hold of a head ...Grrhhh! #missingmostoftheseason !!!

You can pick up a scrap van of that era this side of the irish sea for about 400 euro. If you can get one there it would be a surefire way of getting what you need,
