Hi guys had no joy on the peugeot forum, hoping you guys are more helpful

Hi guys

2007 peugeot boxer diesel 330 2.2hdi 100ps

Some advice needed if you can please, I have 2 error codes displayed

Error code 1 which happens regularly - excess radiat fluid temperature - only happens when starting from cold engine cuts out and the engine light then comes, restart engine with no problems but light stays on and says check engine on start up, a few journeys later the light goes out. Then a maybe two or three days later the cycle starts again? Can't be excess temp as engine always totally cold I.e in the morning.

Error code 2 happened today and is the first time and happened at the same time as above van hadn't been driven for a couple of weeks - insufficient oil pressure - engine light come on but could have been for above error - again restarted the engine and let the boxer run and no problems, stopped and restarted after about 10 minutes and again no problems or errors. Just says check engine as above.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Cheers

The first thing I would do is to check the earth strap from engine to body is intact and the connections at both ends are bright and shiny to the metal. A poor earth can give all sorts of weird engine related errors.
