This image shows the plastic clip that holds the seat cover to the seat base wire frame in a Ducato/Autotrail, they come in different lengths depending where on the base they are used.
Any idea if this clip method is used on any other make of van etc?

This seems to be standard way of fixing the seat covers on most seats,Most motorvan manufactures use outside upholstery services to supply cushions and to recover cab seats hope this helps

Yes it helps a lot.
The image shown is of my seat which I have just taken to a MH/Caravan upholsterer and when I enquired about these clips for someone else, they said they were like Gold dust.
So are Van seat covers fixed in the same way?

Tha majority of single seats I've seen have a j channel like that, some on all sides some just at on the bottom of the back panel. The strip on the back is about 40cm should make a few of your clips. Double seats and benches are often fixed with hog rings which is another option.
