I own a Fiat Ducato 1.9 diesel 1988 (non turbo) and It's time to change the timing belt (kit with tensioner and guide) and a new water pump. I wonder If i need some special tools for that? I've tried to search for information on Internet how to change the timing belt with no luck, so now I hope some one could help me with some advice, pictures or plain text will be just fine ![]() Airborne 101st CURRAHEE

Posts: 58 Thanks: 1 Trader Rating: 0 ![]() | Re: Fiat Ducato 1.9 diesel 1988 (non turbo) timing belt change only for raising the engine out of the mounts and suporting also 41mm socket and large bar for drive shaft nut i used scaffolding tube on torque wrench you also need t/wrench with 500ft/pnds not the easiet thing to get hold of. whole job took 2 days just make sure you get the wright kit there are a couple of different ones and there are differing engine types use your reg ore engine number to id
