Looked on here for info on replacing the Rad on the 2.3jtd. Didnt find anything so specific so just got outside and got on with it.
If anyone else is interested it's a doddle and can all be done from topside, even extraction of old unit (including fans still mounted) and same (reverse) for installing new unit.

I bought new unit from GSF for £102 inc vat. wasnt listed for ducato but for Citroen relay...identical in all the important areas and ws an exact fit....a few slight differences but nothing important. One thing GSF couldn't supply were jubilee clips large enough to replace the ****ty speed clips that manufacturers seem to favour these days, B&Q sold the largest diameters needed (air box and inter-cooler connecting pipes).
Halfords were the best price for all the other ones for the rad hoses.

Not going to produce a "how to" as im sure most ppl can figure it out but once all intercooler pipes and and air box are out of the way undo the fuse box and push it to the rear of engine bay out of the way, same for the power steering reservoir. No need to remove bumper but I removed the plastic grill panel and n/s headlamp to facilitate better access. Hope this helps someone. Any questions feel free to ask.
