On a 2007 Ducato 130 Multijet motorhome, the left numberplate, rear light and front parking light don't work after a rear light bulb went black. After inserting a new bulb still no light. All fuses are OK. (The warning light on the dashboard is still with light)

Is it nessesary to "reset" anyting after a short in a circuit?

A wiring diagram would be a great help if anybody can tell me how/where to obtain it.

Recheck your fuses, left and right are fused separately. Bulb may have caused fault if filament broke and shorted internally. Dull black is normal for an old bulb- means it's been hot. Shiny black means its been subjected to high voltage for a while.

Hi. I have the same problem. The car is a 2007 multijet100 mobilehome.
First parklight disappeared at left side, afrter a while also right side is missing. When i turn on parking light, i can hear relay switching in, and light comes on for a half second. When i turn on parking light, i can very clear hear the engine dropping speed for a short while. 4 paklights with 5w should not be enough to affect the engine speed, so i guess it is a shortcut somewhere. But where to find? I changed one defect bulb, but i did not change anything. Any good ideas?

Best regards
Steinar

In this case: YES !
How to reset?
Just switch completly off the main light switch (Stay off for a sec or more)
The warning lamp in the dashboard goes off, turn the light on again, in my case the parking light did light up again.
(In Norway the light always stays ON due to the regulation)

Nobody (workshops) was able to tell me that simple fact, they had a possible job in sight at 120 Euro pr hour!
