Hi Guys,is there anyone out there that could e mail me a copy of the E Learn workshop manual to [email protected]
I have tried in vein to download it from the download section but it fails every time. The version I would like is for Fiat Ducato 2.8JTD 2004..
Thanks..:bang:

maybe I am doing something wrong. Do I need a rapidshare account?
I registered and downloaded the RAR file, but I am note able to open it or move the file out of rapidshare?

You didn't need to register with RapidShare to download the file, just click the green download button and download it to your computer then unzip the file with WinRar. This will produce a .ISO or .NRG file (can't remember which) that you can burn to a disc. Install the eLEARN program from that disc.

The two manuals on rapidshare are not alone as I have problems in downloading other files from rapidshare, just to see I tried registering on Rapidshare which requires a user name & a password & a "real" email address to which they now send a email to activate your registration to enable "login" to download files. Well that doesn’t work either for the manuals nor for other download files either.
Back maybe as far as February Rapidshare enabled SSL encryption on their site & a whole “lot of great improvements” (to extract money from more users) hence why the "security warning window" comes up as the site is now a HTTPS instead of HTTP. But regardless whether you register it won't allow downloads to your computer or saving files to my new Rapidshare Account. I enabled “allow Direct downloads” in my account settings to no avail.
From reading lots of Net forum posts it seems there are lots of reported download complaints regarding the exact same problem with Rapidshare since they changed their format - Free does not seem to exist anymore although it is not stated anywhere if this is the case!! Their FAQs seem to suggest that the normal Free downloads are still available with waiting time, speed limits etc. although everything is brought with Rapids?? So maybe because I have no rapids (& I am certainly not buying any) it won’t allow downloads.
Well on browsing their FAQs, News etc It appears to me that they have made it so complicated it is now unusable to most novice users - if it is a particular setting in the browsers for SSL by now I would have thought they would have a solution on their FAQs so maybe should be renamed "RapidShare – Difficult Filehosting"
So the FF links appear to be now useless unless maybe you are a paid-up with "Rapids" RapidPro or Premium user. - there are other alternatives
poppyfields - the eLearn is too large to email - 113MB, most email servers won't accept any larger than 15-20 MB if that.
Cheers :eek::eek::eek: :bang:

Thanks paddyponchero
I have already got the bundle with the other Fiat manuals & a different version of that german 230 manual as well as some others. I have just tried a test with jDownloader on the FF rapidshare links & it didn't work through itself but somehow managed to bypass what ever is their problem & produced a normal "save as" dialogue box from which I managed to do a direct download!
Not sure what poppyfields means by "I registered and downloaded the RAR file, but I am note able to open it or move the file out of rapidshare" ?? probably doesn't have Winrar installed to open it for a start?
Thanks for your input jDownloader looks good.
Cheers (y)

Guys, thanks for all the replys. Will try jdownloader as see how I get on..

Yeah jdownloader is great for things in multiple parts you just paste in all the links.

I am presently downloading the eLearn manual from RapidShare (again!) as a test --- 111 MB. Its already 28 MB through, going at 190 KB/s.

No registration, no password, no wait. Straightforward.
So, I don't know what the problems others are experiencing

Hi Peter
Glad to hear that you are not having any problems with the download, as I said in the previous post it would not download for me (other than with/through Jdownloader & the same applies to other files available on Rapidshare.
I only tried because there seemed to be a large number of downloads recorded from the FF download link & I wondered if it was repeat attempts because they were unsuccessful. As each time I tried it recorded as a download in the FF downloads link but it was not successful.
Did the site come up with a HTTPS? when you did it?
Cheers :bang:

It was https when I tested the download 2 days ago and when I tried it again 2 minutes ago. Clicked the green "Download" button and IE9 gave a security warning "Only secure content is displayed". Clicked "Show all content" on the IE9 warning bar then the green "Download" button again and the file downloaded without any problems on both occasions.

Hi Davren
Just tried again & it was HTTPS, go to the web page click on the green download button "security warning" pops up with "do you want to view only content that was delivered securely" yes or no if you click yes nothing happens if NO the security bar at top of page appears with the "block content" warning etc.
click here to download file etc again nothing happens. other than a new welcome to Rapidshare page appears
I am using IE 8 on XP ?
Doesn't worry me as I must have at least 8-10 copies & as above used jdownloader again last night & this morning as well, but just wondering what is going on???? & there seems to be large number of downloads recorded so I think other people are having trouble as well.
Cheers

Could be a pop up blocker or a 'helpful'(n) toolbar.

Some sites are now actively detecting adblockers too and bombing out.

I must be going mad! I cannot find the link to this download. I went to the download section and could not find it. Also put 'Ducato' into the search box and got no results.

Help!

David

Here you can find some info about Ducato 2006.

Because I'm not allowed to post URL's (this is my first post) I'll write the URL in text.

Type http:// in front and then:

library.docent.isvor.it/upload/lmsfa.docent.isvor.it-2151/016393-Traccia%20Didattica%20Fiat%20Ducato%20seconda%20fase_GB.pdf

Here You will find from the Fiat Training Academy the Fiat Ducato Course Outline 2006

just buy up to date disc why settle for out of date/incomplete information:confused:

If only that was possible T.

I've had a Stilo eLEARN disc on order with local dealer for almost 2 years. They, and other dealers I've contacted say they can't get them or they're permanently on back order.

It appears you can order them from the Fiat website for €75 but they'll only supply them if you have a garage VAT number.
