I have a Fiat Ducato 1993 2.5 TD based Hymer Camp 55. The battery is fairly new and in good condition. I have real difficulties starting up in extremely cold weather. The pre-heat indicator lamp on the dashboard flashes on and off and you can hear a realy clicking on and off. After a struggle, it will start but the light continues flashing for a short time. Starting is fine above freezing point. I understand that there are no glow plugs, but that the diesel itself is pre-heated. Maybe somebody could suggest how I might be able to improve this situation.
