I bought one of the X-250 (Citroen Relay) Workshop Manuals advertised on ebay. It only cost about £6 and consists of 2 DVDs.
It seems to be a spares catalogue covering all Citroen models as supplied to Citroen Dealers. In order to work it is necessary to download software that apparently feigns a different identification number for your computer. This can stop other programmes working. This software can be easily reversed to get your other programmes working again, but then the spares catalogue doesn't work. Although there is a massive amount of data here, there are many gaps in it, and things like torque wrench settings and dismantling/reassembly instructions are missing altogether, so it is of little if any practical use to the DIY mechanic contemplating his own repairs.
So my question is, are all the so called workshop manuals for the X250 like this, or is there anything better available?
