:confused rumour:Have searched the forum for procedure for resetting the service spanner warning symbol. Found technique for pre 2007 vans but none for newer, 2007+ models. Is there a simple procedure? The van has done 23000, but unlike Fiat recommended oil change intervals, the van has been independently serviced with oil changes every 6000 miles and I know it is not due another for a while. The issue of oil change intervals is intriguing. A good mate of mine in West wales who ran Citroen specialist garage always insisted that oil changes should be far more frequent than the manufacturer suggested and given the simplicity of doing them on this van, it will be interesting to see how engine life and performance correlate with that extra TLC. Your thoughts? Thanks. :rumour:

As for the spanner reset on 2007 onwards models, I thought this was dealer only with the tech equipment plugged in.

As for oil changes, if you can afford to change the oil every 6k miles, brilliant.

I would personally go for every year if she's low mileage.

My 244 Ducato 2.8 did nearly 163k before the turbo blew. We changed the oil every year.

Hi

You need to take it to a dealer for a service light reset and oil degradation reset as this is the 2.2 puma engine.
