Hello all,
I'm hoping for some advice, I have a 2005 2.3JTD Ducato based motorhome having done around 16000 miles, it is almost due for its 5 year service and the dealer tells me it has to have the timing belt replaced at 5 years, but checking in the Service & Warranty Booklet for converted vehicles it appears to conflict itself? In the "Low Mileage Annual Service" section it says replace at 5 years, But in the "Ducato Maintenance Program 18000 Miles Service Intervals" it says replace at 72000 miles only on the 2.3JTD?
The Fiat dealer tells me its around £500 to replace the timing belt plus over £300 for the 5 year service. So as you may imagine I dont want to have to pay for something I dont need yet.
If anyone can advise I would be most thankful.
Simon
