Hi Just joined as was searching for egr valves on google.
Both my new shape 2007 Ducato 120 vans have seen the dealer so many times, they hide when I walk in.
This week we have a new problem : big flat spot at low revs. took it back as we had the problem 2 months ago and cost £390 for a new throttle body,( guess what the 3rd year warranty didnt cover it ) as per normal..
So this time they have told me its the egr valve another £300 which doesnt come under the warranty.Not a happy bunny.
So I took the vehicle off them and waiting for Fiat Care to come back to me as spent over a grand in last 6 months.
Any advice ???
Other problems.
Van 1:
3 x been in for slipping clutch.
1 x for snapped gear linkage cable £250 funny that !! a week after they fixed the clutch. could they have adjusted it too much !!!no course not.
3 x for water in headlight
1 x for leaking windscreen.
1 x Bluetooth
2 x spare wheel carrier.
Van 2 :
1 x sliding door fell off.
1 x new door lock
1 x for stereo stopped working.
2 x for blue tooth not working.
2 x for grinding gearbox
1 x for no brake lights.
1 x for water in headlight. didnt go back when did it again.
1 x spare wheel carrier. had to cut it off this time and locate wheel in van.
In all I wish I had kept the transits. HELP !!
