2007 Ducato

Hello I am new to this site and could use some help.
I have a Ducato 100 multijet 2007 i had it back to Fiat main dealer they changed the EGR valve
Now when the van is idling the revs are erratic it sits at 8 to 8500 revs then drops may be 2000 revs and then go back .
it dose not matter if the van is hot or cold the engine light has not come on so the garage cant read the fault.

When driving it runs well this problem starts when in traffic. if someone can help or point me in the right direction to get this sorted
thanks

Re: 2007 Ducato

just because there is no errors it does not mean they cannot find the fault infact they are (should!) be the best people to find the fault.

what was the original fault?

Re: 2007 Ducato

.It had the updates at the same time as the EGR . Do you tink this is a injector or fuel problem.

Re: 2007 Ducato

I would look towards measuring low/high fuel pressures with special interest on the pressure sensor aend of fuel rail.
