My grandfather has one Ducato (11, is that the model number?) 2.0 jtd (not sure what year, 2003-2006). He has had funny problems starting the car. The problem is that sometimes the car won't ignitiate. You can try to start it for a while, with out a luck, BUT, if the car is towed, it will ignitiate, and run fine. If we replace the fuel filter, the car will work fine for around 4-5.000 km, and then the problem starts again. We replaced the filter holder as well, and it was little better, but still not good. I don't think that is showes any warning lights in the dashboard. I mesured the voltage to the pre-heater sparks and it mesures around 10.5V. Does someone know if that's normal?
