General Engine number

Hi

Does anyone know how to locate the engine number on the new Ducato Maxi 160 Multijet?? I believe that it can be found under the engine but I have been unable to locate it!!!!!

I would alos be interestined in obtaining a Ducato manual if anyone knows how to get hold of one.

Hi Peter
Had a look in the W/S manual & guess what, all it says is "located on the engine block"

Thanks Free Spirit!!
no luck here so i called Fiat. They say its near the starter motor when viewed from "below" the engine. So apparently it will need to be on a hoist to have any luck in locating it.
