Hi i am new to this forum hope somebody can help me we have a 90 kon tiki on a fiat ducato she has a posseced gearstick we have had the threee engine mounts renewed hoping to eliminate this problem but to no avail the gear stick wobbles like mad and the whole van shakes we end up bad with our nerves when we get out from the shaking hope somebody has some ideas of what else we can try gearbox is fine

What age is your Ducato and which engine do you have?

I have recently had a problem with shaking and vibration. I suspected engine mounts but I now think it is caused by a worn inner drive shaft joint. On the left side my inner tripoid joint had fallen to bits. A new shaft will be fitted tomorow and I should know if it has cured the problem.

Get under the van and give the drive shafts a good shake, see if they feel loose.
