My Late 94 2.8JTD has been a bit temperamental starting of late. It is a motorhome, so is not in daily use. Often the glow plug light goes out as normal but the engine just cranks without starting.

However, EVERY time (so far, and that's the worry!) as soon as I tell it is not starting properly, if I turn it off, then turn the key again, it starts instantly!

It strikes me as a relay issue, but that's a guess.

Thoughts welcome.
