I had a two litre and i could get seventy but she was a good bit lightr than yours.their not geared up for high speed me thinks.

What year is it. I've got a 97 motorhome, 1.9td, and it is slow, but it will hit 80 eventuallly on the motorway, but will cruise more happily at 65mph.
At a steep hill it slows to below 60 and needs a bit of up and down through the gears.

I used to have a series 1 ducatto with the petrol engine. It would cruise at 70, but wasn't comfortable to drive at that speed. 60 was less stressful, but having said that it performed well. Is the airfilter ok? otherwise it's worth getting it timed, tuned, etc and it should improve.

i wil have a look at air filer barons told me it had all been serviced when i bought it iam taking it to withensea for a weeks holiday next week i will see how it performs on the motorway, just hope weathers better then .

just got back from first long run been to withensea and then on up to hornsea and general driving around. 222miles altogether motorway and a lot of country roads . van did well at 60 and 70 used about quid on petrol seems like it wasnt to bad on fuel i hope
