I've got a a problem with what appears to be water dripping into the passenger footwell from the air conditioning unit. There isn't much water and it only happens when the air con is switched on. It's an '06. Any ideas?
Thanks

I would check that the drain pipe for the Air conditioner is correctly fitted & routed through the floor to allow the condensed water from the A/C to drain outside. It could also be that the suction pipe of the A/C has not been covered correctly with a mastic type coating that minimises the water condensing on the pipe (which is cold when the A/C is turned on & operating) & then causing it to drip on the floor
Cheers

My guess is check the drain there may be a problem in drain pipe of the air conditioning.

Well, grumpy old moderator, this post is timely for me, because I am having the same problem of water dripping into the footwell.
I have yet to locate the A/C drain pipe - any hints? (though I have yet to look seriously).

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY AIR CON ON MY 2004 MOTORHOME,AFTER ENDLESS TRIPS TO MY AIR CON GARAGE I BROUGHT A PLASTIC TRAY,(from a ford air con unit) chopped it around a bit to make a comfortable fit and fitted below the exsiting unit ! it works brilliantly!..The tray has its own outlet hose also, it saves my wife feet getting wet !!!!!

My Wife is giving me a hard time over her wet feet(also ruined a new handbag!) I think that it is the A/Con drain problem. I,m not sure what or where I am looking for to unblock it. Could you be a bit more specific? Should I be looking on the engine side of the bulkhead or under the dashboard, or do I need to lift the carpet. Any help much appreciated! I cannot stand the aggro!

Any photo's or diagrams to indicate where this AC drainpipe is located
