hi,as soon as i turn on my ignition my cooling fan starts and stays on until about 30 secs after i switch off.does anybody know what controls this and how i can get it back to just coming on just when it gets hot.the van has a retro fitted air con system from new and the previous owner cant remember the fan being on all the time.it has been stood for a while and is a 2003 model.thanks.:bang:

Sounds like the thermostatic switch is duff which is mounted on the rad. If you have a multimeter to test across it , it should normally be open circuit and only switch on when the rad gets very hot.
