Well they arrived yesterday...
They come very well packaged... (Logo’ed bag) its seems as though they are an actual fiat part??
There's six panels (very sturdy) they fit like a glove its about a 60% tint ... the panels are fitted with small high quality clips that use a gel sticky adhesive I’ve never seen this type before but sticks like a teenager on Pamela Anderson . Good instructions for fitting... but I would suggest when fitting to attach the clips (without taking the film off) to the panels get the best position and mark with a thin tip permanent marker , therefore the position + tension is correct... . when fitting the clips make sure that you use a large flat screwdriver to push the clips against the surface and create the strong gel adv bond
The panels are easily removed when required... the panels at most angles produce an effect that you can't see in the van... my girls are very happy with the blacked out look... but you still can see out very well... was coming home tonight up the M1 (it was hell) , towing a caravan chassis and didnt have to dip the internal mirror
The passenger panels are cut so you can still open the sliding window.... therefore you can have the window open with the sun blind intact + acts as a bug repellant... same for the rear openers....
I'll take some pictures after I've washed the van!!! + cleaned the inside windows properly...
They only cost £99.00 with £11 delivery... which is far less than tinting which I was quoted £280 for six blacked out windows. if you go to b+q etc... put lots of stuff in and it scratches a tint film then its ruined ,, with these you just remove / install when you need to... who wants overhot kids balling in the back of a seven seater family ?
A thought ..... if you got a spare set of clips or removed the clips (you'll need new adhesive) and reinstalled in your NEW doblo then more savings.... I don’t like paying over the odds for anything...
I realize that over time the panels may "grey" in the sun ... I think that’s the only down side... but they will still work.. (Unless you remove them and only use when required)...
