Hi, I have a 1.3 multijet doblo van, the speedo has stopped working, is there a fuse, or sensor that needs checking, cant find one in the handbook

I'm new to this forum, does anyone know what to look at ?
If I take it into fiat it'll cost an arm and a leg to get diagnosed, the engine management light is on now, and the speedo is not registering.

I had a simalar problem on my daughters panda mj, BUT the abs warning light was on as well, turned out to be the abs fuse, when I replaced it, it blew again, there was a loose wire on the abs, when I pushed it back on, theres been no more problems with it, I'm not sure if its the same set up on the doblo though ?

alan, I've checked my doblo handbook, sorry fella, dont think it is the same setup as panda mj, send a pm to T14086, user on here, he is a fiat technician, I'm sure he'll know the answer.

thanks for the info bobian, my van has abs, must have been an optional extra ?
I've checked the abs fuse, which has not blown, so I'm stuck now, engine m'ment light is still on, its a 54 reg if this helps.

Hour (£45-55) diagnostic should sort it out,examiner can opperate the speedo & check wheel sensors quickly.
Is the mileage staying the same or going up?

no, its not recording mileage, is there a fuse I need to check ?
theres 2 fuse boxes, one under the bonnet, and one at the drivers side footwell.

Should be a speed sensor at back of gearbox.

Thanks for that, I'll check the connection this weekend, and If I dont find a problem, I'll need to book it in with a fiat dealer.
