would highly appreciate if someone can tell how to get to the airco filter and check it, before I demolish entire engine compartment on Doblo 1.9 JTD?

What's an Airco filter? I'm assuming you mean Air Con?

If so then there's a long and complicated procedure to do it according to my workshop manual which involves taking the dash apart, steering wheel, airbag, etc and then removing the air con housing. Then you have to drain and disconnect all the hoses and the radiator and drop the complete unit out of the car from underneath. Then you undo the electrical connections, and a cover and the filter element slides out.

Surely there has to be an easier way to do in situ?

If you're on about the dehumidifiying filter then this is slightly easier but still needs the removal of the front bumper

That's insane!! AFAIR there is an ad in our dealer that says they will change the (unspecified) aircon filter for £15.
