Wow that's a lot of mileage Falcon!

Give us an update on the Doblo then Niall or was it her day off today :p

We try not to work at the weekends so the vans just sit there. If I am asked to do any work I quote premium rates to compensate for the loss of my free time - it normally puts them off but sometimes I kick myself when they agree and I have to go out.:bang:

The 'Doblo Countdown' relates to working days so you'll be well past 1000 posts by the time it trips over the 200k.

Oh yeah, How will you be celebrating your 1000 posts? Tints for the Doblo? or Bling sill protectors or 'slow driver please pass' sticker or just with a nice new fleecey pair of jimjams for the winter (winnie the pooh emblem of course)?.:p :p

I have seen some Pegout 406s go through the auction EX Taxis with near to 500K Miles. and because they just need bits like the stupid flywheel with a rubber center replaced before the every 100K and service them regular then they just keep on going. Proberbly cost a bomb for the prev owner. the paperwork that cam with the car had a service history book then a second service history book and the car had always been serviced at a renault place It was only missing three years service but still had recipts for new fuel pumps and master brake cylinders etc. so most of the car had been replaced.

Awww, it's worth it though when you charge the extra, but I see what you mean you just want to sit down, relax, do some shopping etc :)

And as far as celebrating nothing, no tints insurance won't allow, no sill protectors cause I don't want them, and no whinnie the pooh jimjams cause my sister will think im copying what I bought her for xmas last year ;)

That's mad, when you have to replace half the car though surely it's not worth spending the money on it... depends how much you like the car but to take it to 500,000 you must either love the car or love wasting money! :p

Whoooooo 1000'th post :D:D:D(y)

:slayer: Give me another 9 moths to get to 2000! Lol! Funny though, my daily post count still says around 4 posts a day yet I do a lot more... guess I couldn't have posted on here for a long time before now. I got there anyway :)

NOW, more importantly, let's get back onto Niall's 200,000 miles cause that's what this threads really about ;)

Dear Ozzie, I count 500 posts as invalid. I declare Niall_G the winner.

I always knew Doblo was a person of fine taste and exceptional character. Doblo can spot a winner from a mile off. Granted 'other' contributors may make more noise than myself but....... and I'm embarrised to mention this..... my humble offerings are of an altogether better calibre. So I thankyou Doblo for pointing out what should be plain to see and take heart that you feel the same way as I.

Lol, Doblo, Niall is clearly the winner of this, 200,000 miles is worth a lot more than 1000 posts it was just a friendly banter ;)... oh and all 1000 posts were for good reason and were not a load of crap :p

Getting there Niall ;)

That pic isnt of a renault laguna dashboard.

It looks like a toyota dashboard and i suspect it is from the carina

DOH I do go through a lot of cars. Toyota Carina E M Reg With Face Lifted Metal grill. The Renalt is the other one that was 180 ish K. Right I paid a little more for that one but not much more I thinlk in the region of £250. DOH.:bang:

You beat me to 1,000 Ozzie easily, I came on this forum when there were only two or three on the Doblo section.
