Thought I'd hand on my experiences with my doblo, okay the bad bit's are the rear doors have shed the rubber grommets a few times this is annoying and due to a rather fragile hinge design. :(

The front door checks have both been replaced under warranty after one snapped at the bracket.
The heater matrix had to be changed as it started to leak and my fiat dealer has changed the rear springs in an effort to rid the car of annoying creeks from the rear, however they have been largely unsuccessful and it appears to be the anti roll bar rubbers at the rear causing most of the noise. :(
It also appears the replacement springs are much softer than the originals something I'm not that happy with as the vehicle does not corner as well as it did and I am wondering if the correct springs have been fitted

I have been happy with my Fiat dealer despite the problems the vehicle is used for many short trips and has proved reliable and very economical, tyre wear is high at the front wheels but this probably reflects hard use and has improved now that I have increased the pressures.:)

I do hope the vehicle will not display any further problems as it is a good vehicle in most respects and fuel afficiant, my Fiat dealer service costs have been around £420 pounds to date.

PS anyone know why the indicator switch fails to cancel more often than not:(

I'm really pleased your Doblo has served you well despite the little niggles (y)

The only solution to Date with the rear springs is to spray them with oil or take the anti-roll bar assembly apart (will involve removing the exhaust though) and greasing them properly. It is a known problem with Fiat so why they replaced the rear suspension I'll never know, and there are 2 types of springs they used on the Doblo (I think, or there's 3 ) one set are softer and give a payload of around 600kg and the other gives a payload of around 850kg but that's on the Cargo only.

Oh and with the indicators... They choose when and where they want to turn off sometimes just randomly... It's the only one niggle I found to be wrong with the car :p

Hi Ozzie, I think my doblo must have had the cargo springs which I preferd the new springs give a more supple ride. I have given my anti roll bar rubbers a squirt with some chain grease it appears to have done the trick. I don't understand why my dealer changed them but at least they tried I would not have been happy if I had paid for this work.

Don't blame you mate, only trouble is you'll have to do it more regularly in warmer drier weather as the heat from the exhaust will just dry it up making them squeak again! At least you get some peace though :p
