Let me know how it goes and I'll try the Diesel stuff there... I filled up to half a tank done 50miles so far and it hasn't moved, MPG showing as 55 on the trip so probably about 50 is what I'm getting :)

Doing around 100mph on the motorway I return about 46mpg, doing 70 I return about 60mpg and town driving if I'm going carefully and not flooring it I can get around 55-60mpg. This is on an engine that's done 22,000 miles usually wit 2 - 5 passengers. I don't see no difference when it's loaded up personally but I only carry 200-300kgs max so I probably wouldn't.

if i get anywhere close to that - i will be a very happy tinman. cheers.

I'm sure you'll see an improvement in your MPG, others have who've bought new Doblo's after they've run the engine in :)

I would say give it to about 3000miles before really worrying about it being low. By the way, what fuel are you using?

well, shes done 4,500 miles now. the next tank will be interesting as I'll do a proper brim to brim comparison.

as for fuel - diesel ;) (i'm new to this diesel stuff)

Well I never... I thought you were using petrol ;)

Ok I shall re-phrase my question... where are you getting it from?
Although supermarkets are cheaper, I get less MPG with them all except Sainsburys where I get an extra 40mile+- a tank. Other than that Texaco and BP fuels tend to run better thus increasing your MPG :)

17 years old. 100mph in a van. I wonder why teenagers get hammered on insurance? :bang: :bang: :bang:

Ozzie we'd hate to have to find another officail greeter. :D

Lol, thank you for your kind words Niall (y)

I am a safe granny driver, that was once on the way to the Welsh show cause it was early morning and the roads were dead and it wasn't for long :)

Don't you worry now ;)

Hey Ozzie, here's a challenge for you.

Sign up with you local IAM (Institute of advanced motorists) Group and train to pass the Advanced Driving test. (I passed on my motorbike while being examined by an advanced police motorcyclist).

You'll be a much safer driver and will save a fair chunk on your insurance ,which must be hundreds, when you're first starting out earning your no claims bonus.

Of course you may feel that you're not good enough, no shame in admiting it, and not take up this challenge.

Who else thinks Ozzie should take the test?

I'm not a mad/bad driver, I'm very very civilised and people comment on my safe driving... but see other thread, I don't mind proving that to you all!

Wish I'd never mentioned the 100MPH thing now
