Technical Doblo 3rd Year Warranty

Thanks for that, when I have to go all the way back up there for the lock to be done (and get another dodgy courtesy car ;)) I'll ask if the head tech/mech can come out on a test run with me. I left an A4 sheet on the drivers seat for them filled with info and it had been scribbled on with notes at the end of the day so that's something! :)

If no luck, I'll go to LC in Newport a bit closer, and hopefully they'll sort it out for me, or at least reassure me what MS Chepstow have done is ok :)

The police...private property/land;)

Nobody (no matter what line of business they are in) should be abused by a member of the public physically or verbally.

Can't see Ozzie beating the receptionist to death just because his windows are squeeking:D There is a difference in being disgruntled with there service and airing your views with the company involved if you feel they have been complacent, and PHYSICAL ABUSE!!:D :D

I'm in business my self and meet and speak with the general public everyday,
luckily we don't have many complaints ,but I would certainly if they were vidicated ,not be to bothered if i got an ear roasting. This PC don't upset the customer service agent P***** M* O**

Ha, we get it all the time in Halfords, and usually its from people who've bought Sat Nav's etc from other shops and then expect us to fix it cause the other shop said there was nothing wrong with it. We had one the other day, the person expected us to fix his TomTom in French, of which none of us could speak French fluently, so we asked him to return it to english and he screamed at us saying we should fix it in French it's discrimination etc. In the end after a little speaking too he changed it and all it required was for him to set it up properly if he had read the ENGLISH manual :)

Ok well a little update for the Doblo's problems (y)

The garage have said now that they cannot do the suspension, or the rear squeaking windows under warranty and that they would charge me to sort it out or I could do it myself - which of course I will.

They have said that the lock will be changed under warranty for the sliding rear door to make that work properly again, and that the dash 'could' be done under warranty but he would really need to see it going wrong (which is unlikely to happen as it is intermittant) as the new dial cluster and wiring is over £300.

So I've got to wait until next monday to go all the way back up, and get a courtesy car again and hope they sort out the problems :chin::rolleyes:

I now how you feel ozz having to go back I am having the same with an injector fault the car went in a couple of weeks ago and they said WE found the fault and fixed it [thank god I thought as fiat couldnt] but its back again from Sat morning and its going back in on thursday and I bet they try and charge me twice for the same job

If that is the maintenance level of the garage keep every thing crossed for you car

Personally I have never found third year warranties any use as they are not covered by the manufacturer and have Lot's of small print, they usually specify manufacturer faults which would have shown up for me as I am a fairly high mileage driver, the Fiat 24 month unlimited warranty is good enough for me though, if I have any serious manufacture faults I will leave it to my local trading standard department.:)

It is limited by mileage in my experience. We had a wiper mechanism fail at 23 months/ 128000 miles. 'Not covered due to milesage' was Fiats line!!!.

Fiat seem to have invented a new definition for 'Unlimited mileage'.

At this point I'd like to go into my usual rant about never buying another Fiat and having successfully put off many other potential buyers etc etc etc.......
