HI . Have bought a new dobbie 120 multi .
i believe i have a problem with the mileage. ifirst noticed it by not being impressed with the mpg. as b 4 i was driving A. 3 hundred thousand mile 1997 mondeo . yeah taxi work .and can't really see the difference, But i noticed the distance between jobs i do is less. i believe when i reset the trip over the course of every mile it will lose 0.1 tenth against other cars, any body noticed this, could it be the new 15 inch wheels they fitted

Sorry Niall but... Welcome to the Forum nice to have you here :) (sorry personal joke there )

A few people have been on here now and said that they have felt less power compared to their old Doblo's and worse consumption. I don't know whether the car is heavier or it's got something to do with them changing the engine. I can't see the wheels making much difference as theres a few guys who run on 17" wheels with no effect.

How many miles has it done, you might see an improvement once you've run it in a bit :)

if a lot of people have said the same, it could be the fact the mileage is not clocking up correct, i have noticed it because i reset the trip every time i do a job. and since i have had it jobs i know the price for have been off the mark on mileage. Although its only 0.1 per mile this is 1mile down on every 10 miles, this could mean 45mpg is really closer to 50mpg and so on. i think i will have to trip a 3 mile distance with another car and see if they run the same, but from the jobs i have done I'm 99% sure the new dobs r under clocking. it would be nice if someone Else with a new shape dobbie could do the same

Yeah try that out, not only could it be useful for you, it could be useful for other people who come onto the forum asking similar questions. You could also use it as a sort of evidence then if you want to tell the dealer that it's down. Though I'm sure for a taxi driver it'll knock a few thousand miles off over the months making it look even better when you sell it on :D woops I shouldn't be suggesting that

I tested my old Doblo JTD with gps, and spedo show 10% more than gps, in the new Doblo Multijet is only 5% more than gps.

I did remapping and the resultats is super, but have a vibration at 2200 so I must put down torque. And now is not so great accelerations?????

i upgraded my steel rims to alloy rims , 14 to 15inch
rubbers from 175 to 195,
and also notice 5-10 % more gas.

more grip on the tarma = more gas..

16 and 17 with widers tyres definite is going to use more gas

In old Doblo I have 175/70/14, now is 185/65/15.
