the doblo, an MPV/SMALL VAN/CAR thingy

i have a work contact who has one, they are huge from the rear, and yeah you can fit a wheelchair + person in the back so quite good for the disabled.

looks quite nice for a mpv/small van/car thingy

and he said to his himself, "wow! what was that thing, it went like a blurr. I wish I had a Punto".

We've got one - and we're not disabled!

For a cheap practical car able to carry five adults in proper comfort - it's the nuts. The 1.9 JTD engine is great (I'm sure many others on here have experienced it in other Fiats), the driving position and visibility are tops, and for the type of vehicle it is the handling is very good. It's comfortable, a little bouncy in the rear but hey, that doesn't bother us as we're in the front ;)

For us, it is the perfect practical car, and allows us to have a completley impractical yet fun small car as well (it's not a Fiat, so I won't elaborate). It's even pretty cheap to insure and run.

Hi

I've got one too (ELX JTD). I've had one for 8 months and it's a great car. Seat moves in all directions to get great comfort, its got 100bhp and crusies at 90mph, 0-60 in 12 seconds, Air Con, Trip Computer, alloy wheels, met paint, electric windows, etc. Suprisingly nice drive (body movement well controlled) - all for £10600.

Its a great car for families - better the the Renault Scenic I had before.

We had our first enquiry to tune one of these today - should be fun with the 130+bhp conversion!:D

It's a van, very similar to the Renault Kangoo Nissan Kubistar, Peugeot Partner, or Citroen Berlingo, they were originally vans, but have a car type derivative. THe Doblo makes an excellent van, one of the nicest vans i've ever driven. Don't think it cuts it as a car though. It just looks plain daft. not in a contraversial multipla type way, just like it ought to be a van but isn't.
that said I'd have it before a Yaris Verso or Kangoo Kar.

yeah, the interior's so cool for a van!

This car is very use as Van! My company as one, but is not a JTD:(, is a normal Diesel engine... very slow. But the inside is cool!

We have a Doblo for my wife since one year as family car (2kids and dog)
Very happy with this practical car.
Result: I kicked the other car(mine) out and replaced it by a second Doblo.
My wife has the 1.2 petrol engine, I drive a 1.9D engine.

The 1.9 D diesel is the most powerfull engine at low speeds compaed with the 1.2 8V.
The 1.2 8V petrol engine will win in topspeed.
But topspeeds those days can be very expensive....:(

But we did'nt take those cars for the speed. We enjoy the luxury having space and room to spare.:D
