hi everyone, great site going on here, glad ive found it!!

just taken delivery of my second doblo, a 1.9 JTD 105 dynamic. a lovely car apart from some niggles which im having the usual trouble with dealers over.!!

if i go round a sharp right hander or a roundabout the brake warning light comes on, checked fluid and its fine, a little concerning first time it happened i can tell you.

Second prob is that when i change up a gear, clutch out and accelerator out and the revs die for about 2 seconds and then it jumps into life. if it had been my first doblo experience would have thought it was turbo lag or something, but my previous dob had instant accelaration so this is quite annoying.

thirdly, this doblo just seems gutless compared to my old one which was also a 1.9jtd. is this something to do with it now being a euroIV engine or is it just mine

any ideas, hope you can shed some light on this for me

thanks in advance

Mine used to do this something to do with connectors under the handbrake I believe was the cause of the problem.

Hello there and welcome to the forum. Shame you're having a few problems with the Doblo you have. I'm not too sure on the brake warning light problem but how many miles has the car done? I suspect you may see an increase in performace once you've run your Doblo in a bit if it's only done a few hundred miles :) I find that my Doblo isn't great under about 2000RPM until the Turbo kicks in, especially uphill, but when it does all is well.

hiya

its a week old and has done 600 miles, also i am getting about 42 mpg. When i had my previous dob (this was also brand new) i was also getting about 42mpg, after it went for its first service, that leapt to about 57mpg, what do they do to get that much of an increase, im kinda hoping the same is gonna happen with this one diesel prices being what they are and the fact i did 117K in my last one!

The fact that it's only done 600 miles suggests to me that it isn't run in yet and performance will not yet be at it's best. You should see an improvement in MPG too. I only get about 40 out of mine, but thats Urban driving, very little motorway, and it's done 17,500 miles.
