Hi Folks

I have a 1.9 JTD Active (04) that I bought about three weeks ago. In the last few days the driver's side passenger door has developed a rattle. The door looks as though it is not flush when closed and if pressure is applied to the door handle you can see daylight between the door and the car frame.

I assume that I can get this done on the manufacturer's warranty as it should have another 12 months to go but just wondered if anyone knew if there was an easy adjustment on maybe the runners that might help?

Many thanks in advance

Hello and welcome to the Forum, it's great to see another Dobo'er on here, and have also just bought an 04 Doblo Active :) I will take a look in my Workshop Manual to see if i can find any diagrams that will help you adjust the doors, but as you said, this should be covered under warranty :)

Ok the procedure is in a Microsoft Word document as I had to print screen so I'll try and mail it to you :)

I've put the file on a hosting server so you can download it from here :)

Hope this helps although the pictures aren't that great, you may need to enlarge them as necessary! Let us know how you get on :)

Booked the red machine in with the local dealer next week so we will see how they perform.

Took the Dob in last week but after a day with our Fiat friends they told me I would have to take it back today as they needed to order a part !!!!

Has been back today at 8am and they called me at 9am and said it was done and so it was. Two grommets missing or so I was informed. Presume this must have been on the roller mechanism for the slider.

Hey ho we are back on the road in silence - well just have to keep the missus quiet for that but you get the drift.

Next thing is to find me a CD changer to get hooked up.. all my cassettes are so old they are knackered... Know anybody with one for sale??

Cheers for all the help

ebay or classifieds would be the first places to start (y)

If you're looking for better sound too you may as well buy an aftermarket head unit with cd player although you will have to take the dash apart to fit. If not, as Apple said try eBay or the classifieds on here :)

Purchased said Radio / CD from Ebay and fitted. Dream machine again.

Done a few thousand miles in her now and am getting just below 60mpg on a run with about 45 round town

Magic !!

Thanks to all for help and advice(y)
