You can get a 2 metre bed base in the back of a Doblo.

But-only-just.:D

Honestly I'm beginning to think that the only reason I have the thing is to haul ludicrously large objects back from IKEA.

I don't think you could do that in a Berlingo or a Kangoo - just not big enough.

:D

Know what you mean!

Fitting a new kitchen that I got at IKEA - managed to get the whole lot in PLUS the kitchen sink - for once, quite literally.

All hail the little van (with windows) that could :worship:

Excelent work there! Got a 1.5m desk in a Tipo and going for a 1.8m kitchen table in a Marea Weekend. With the fold down bumper I could probably fit much longer things in as long as it wasn't raining :D

I did get the back door closed  Let's just say that if the seat had been any further forward I'd be sitting on the bonnet!

Changing gear was.... interesting. Thank God for lot's of "wriggle room" in the Dobbie.

I'm waiting for a Doblo hearse.

I have seen a black Doblo parked outside a funeral directors in Barnsley not sure if they use it for a hearse or just to transport body's back.

I've yet to try putting a motorbike in mine but it should be even better than my old Ford Courier as the roof stays high right to the front. The only disappointing aspect is that there are raised lumps in the floor where the rear seat attaches so you cant remove the seats and slide large objects in through the sliding doors. I had hoped that the floorpan would be flat like the van version.

I can fit a nine piece drum kit, a few amps and guitars in the back of mine (or at least I will be able too once I get my own :p). Can also fit the whole of a sound rig in there too, two speakers over 1m tall, mixing desk, lots of boxes of leads mics etc, cd players...

Absolutely amazing car if you ask me :D

I agree regarding the load capacity of the Doblo.

On more than one occasion I have taken a booking for a 'Transit van load' in my 3.5 tonne Iveco Daily. When loaded, met my wife with her Doblo and transfered the load into her likkle diddy Doblo.

Twice the mpg(y) , charged at nearly double the rate of a 'Doblo' job (y) and ......... I get to sit at home while the missus does my work :) :) :) .......... Excellent !!!!!

One of my first outing in the car was to go to a friends funeral. Once parked amongst all of the funeral vehicles it did look awfully hearse like. Good job it's blue otherwise I might have been taking a mourning party home - or worse:eek:
