Does anyone else have this problem with their Doblo 1.9 jtd??. The indicator flashing lights on my dashbooard screen, are obscured by the steering wheel. Either it is a stupid design, or I am too bloody tall. (Actually I'm 6ft tall, and sit up straight- not an uncommon height on this fair isle. ) Or are Italians - all short arses? Anyway, my indicators have the bad habit of staying on after I have turned off, and the sound (clicking) is hardly audible. I try hard to remember to look ( slighty stooping) after signalling left or right, but quite often forget. I daren't put my music on for fear of not hearing the faint click of the indicator warning, but yesterday was the final straw, as I almost hit a car who thought I was turning left -when I forgot to turn off the indicators. At first I tried putting a small mirror behind the steering wheel so it would reflect the indicator lights -which is not effective, and also tried a magnifying glass on the actual dashboard unit - but to no avail. So now I have resorted to hard wiring two flashing green LED'S -from the indicators, and installing them near the car radio. Had to do it- its MY LIFE -and the LIVES OF OTHERS at stake. But it seems really thoughtless of Fiat to be unaware of the concealed aspect /not to have addressed this feature , and in my opinion - downright bloody DANGEROUS.
