Has anyone had trouble with a petrol doblo not starting? My garage is scratching their head and say they are going to have to send off the ecu to be tested.

That engine is not rare..

What is : is not working?

Immobiliser and fuel pump are common failings..

No spark and fuel has an effect.

Do you have faith in the garage ?.. are you to pay for the ECU Work.. effective or not ??

Hi,OK there's fuel getting to the cylinders
Good compression,good spark at plugs,timing is good ,belt is good.

Yes I do have faith in the garage. I think I am to pay for the ECU work effective or not but I was quoted a reasonable price so that's OK.

We do get a fair few tales of woe.. where many random parts are thrown at vehicles..

Just wanted to see what the story was .. it certainly sounds odd

With the fundamentals in place its probably either the earth strap messing up connections or a bad sensor feedback to the ECU
Is it DEAD.. or just very fussy when coughing into action..?
