The time has come to give the old girl a few treats - pre-winter service.
As usual, I enter my reg into Euro Car parts' home page & tap on oil filter, air filter, etc. had to wait a day or so for everything to come into my local shop then went to collect.
I did think at the time that the oil filter seemed a tad small but as I'd not handled it for a year, I thought time was simply playing tricks.
Managed to get the old one off & sure enough, it's almost double the height of the new one - which wouldn't even go anywhere close.
Looking at their website, everything they recommend for my dobbie comes in at a mere 53mm high but trying to find out which oil filter mine is supposed to have is becoming a nightmare. I've looked at a few sites where you enter your reg & the filters that come up range from 53mm high all the way up to 100.5mm!
Never before have I come across this problem when buying service bits for the dobbie.
PS, anyone know what size it is supposed to be?
