Well, it’s four days since I picked up my 2003 Doblo Cargo and a few things done so far:

Checked cam belt and alternator belt, looking virtually new.
Replaced sidelight bulb, indicator bulb and turned the high level brake light up the right way, wondered why it didn’t look right.
Replaced Wiper blades
Topped up fluids
Fitted four new tyres of correct size and extra load rating (ATS Euromaster doing a cracking deal of £50 off four Avon’s - worked out £40.50 per tyre fitted)
Auto locksmith repaired drivers door lock so it now actually unlocks and cut a new key as key badly worn and swapped chip over.
Gently rubbed down headlights with 1500 grit wet and dry and polished up as misted over.
Replaced fan resistor so now works on all four speeds
Sourced jack and wheel brace as were missing
Ordered replacement interior light as switching between modes playing up
Got basic service items ready for the weekend, weather permitting

Really pleased with the van, surprised at the solid build quality and it drives like a dream, quiet and smooth, you wouldn’t think it was over 17 years old and done 120,000 miles. No rust found either, solid and clean underneath.

Rust is pretty much a thing of the past.. :)

Cheaply patched up accident damage is the worst offender now.. :(

And perished underseal actually trapping water.. like a hammock

Is it a 1.9?

They got better and better..as the upgrades came(and the power went up..)

If you haven't got anything history showing cam belt and water pump , get it done, I just bought a 06 plate, week later water pump seized, threw belt and bent valves.
I did the work myself and still cost around 250
